Gag Reflex

Welcome to chores I just can't do. And be aware, it is slightly gross. I cannot clean out the refrigerator or icky food remains. Why? I have a terrible gag reflex and it makes itself known when there are things that need to be cleaned out which are no longer recognizable. So, my husband does this kind of stuff. Well, today, there was a terrible smell in the kitchen, which started yesterday, and was getting worse and worse. My husband is not feeling well and had to go to school so I thought, "suck it up and take care of this smell." So............I tracked down the culprit, a tomato gone bad. NO, not bad, putrid. So I say, "just do it, it will be fine." Wrong, wrong, wrong. Because in addition to putrid there was decomposition, so when I heaved it into the trash......oh, foul and my gag reflex checked in full force. Okay, gross part over. Kinda. I can't go on. But it's done. However, I did not dare venture into the refrigerator to clean it out. That will have to wait until the man is up to the task.
This is one of the many reasons I love my husband.

I am terrible with smells as well. A few months ago, there was a terrible smell in my pantry. I discovered a lone, rotten potato that had fallen to the floor. I ended up paying my oldest son to clean it out for me!

I would have paid someone, but there was no one!
